Morphopox-245S is a two component high solids epoxy coating designed for applications where a EMI shielding property is needed. Morphopox-245S based to water borne solid epoxy resin system and superior electrical conductivity of carbon nanotubes. Product does not contain any metallic particles.

Two component 100% solids epoxy resin coating designed for applications where a good electrical conductivity and durability is needed. It can be used as durable base coat. Epoxy is considered the industry standard for high-end coating. No flammability and can be applied as thick or thin as you need it.

It's recommend to squeegee this product out and apply 2.5m2 per liter (approx. 200um) and back roll it with a shed-resistant roller to even it out. It has a good pot life (60 minutes) once it's mixed with the converter. Once you get the product out of your mixing bucket it takes much longer for it to tack off.

VOLATILE ORGANIC CONTENT: Nearly zero per liter
COVERAGE PER LITER: 2.5m2 @ 200μm
PRODUCT STORAGE: Store product at normal room temperature. Continuous storage should be between 15ºC and 35ºC. Low temperatures or temperature fluctuations may cause product crystallization. Avoid feezing!
PRIMING: A suitable primer should be used before applying this product. See the front side of this technical data for primer information.
PRODUCT APPLICATION: The mixed material can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. However, the material can also be applied by a suitable serrated squeegee and then back rolled as long as the appropriate thickness recommendations are maintained. Maintain temperatures and relative humidity within the recommended ranges during the application and curing process.
RE-COAT OR TOP-COATING: If you opt to re-coat or topcoat this product, you must first be sure that the coating has tacked off before re-coating. However, all previous coats should be deglossed to insure a trouble free bond prior to application of re-coats or topcoats. Colder temperatures will require more cure time for the product before re-coating or top-coating can commence. Before re-coating or top-coating, check for epoxy blushes (a whitish, greasy film or deglossing). If a blush is present, it can be removed by any standard detergent cleaner prior to top-coating or re-coating. Many epoxy coatings and urethane's as well as multiple coats of this product are compatible for use as a topcoat.
