    Morphona nanocarbon coating is now available also for EMI shielding purpose. Coating offers new highly conductive, flexible design possibilities for all kind of EMI shielding applications. Coating is simply to add different kind of substrates (plastics, glass, textiles atc.)

    Nanocarbon paste can be adjusted to customer requirements so that it offer different kind of attenuation levels for EMI and RFI shielding. Because coating does not include any metals it is very lossy for RF waves and therefore shielding based to untypical combination of absorption, transmission- and reflection loss.

    Sheet conductivity is possible to tune wide range from under 0.1Ohm/square up to 100kOhm/square.

    SPECIAL PROPERTIES

    Morphona nanocarbon coating special property is frequency selective Electric Field and Magnetic Field shielding. This property give a new opportunity to use EMI shielding for example inside of Wireless Chargers without effect to charging efficiency. Nanocarbon coating offers still an good EMI shielding solution for very wide spectrum. This is not possible to achieve with traditional metal based shielding solutions.

    Morphona EMI shielding technology can be used in all kind of industry (mobile phones, cars, industrial electronics, etc.) and especially where space and weight are critical.

  • MORPHONA™ electrically conductive nanocarbon additive

    Morphona has developed a conductive nanocarbon additive with good conductivity for the coating applications and high technology 3D printing industries. End applications are ESD protection, EMI shielding and in other technologies needing wellcontrolled conductivity. We have also experience of nanocarbon additive usage in printed super capacitors current collector where performance, weight and costs are in optimum level.

    This conductive coating meets the requirements of conductivity for low voltage applications, EMI shielding and controlled ESD protection

    The coating resins which enhanced with our conductive additive is possible to archive a surface resistivity even low as 0.1Ω/□ The conductance functionality is permanent, stable over aging and does not depend on humidity, temperature, UV or other external factors which are often of concern for other conductive coating technologies.

    We have now available also epoxies for chemical and corrosion resistance required environment. These epoxies electrical conductivities are high, stable over aging and well controlled. Epoxy based products are available also for adhesive purpose. Epoxy paints can used in many industrial sectors like automotive, heavy industry, defence technology and many more.

  • CARBON NANOTUBES (CNT) and CELLULOSE IN WATER

    The Morphona nanopaste is based on carbon nanotubes (CNT) and cellulose in water.

    Nanopaste's conductivity and CNT content can be tune on very wide range (up to >5%). This feature gives new opportunities for example in low voltage, flexible and textile based heating elements, printable electronics and water borne epoxy EMI/RFI shielding.

    Nanocarbonpaste can be used a raw material for polymeric coatings for metals, textiles, plastics and paper by using traditional coating methods. Nanopaste creates a unique macro-scaled network of carbon nanotubes which looks like a solid layer to the eye.

    Nanocarbonpaste can easily modified to powder mode which gives many new aspects for additive usage. One example is an CNT additive for additive manufacturing (3D printing).
